For the energetic, The Ultimate Lodge offers two hiking trails.
Explore the outdoors and experience hiking on the Soutpansberg, a must for adventure junkies! Get to the trailhead and start your outdoor adventure.
Located at our veranda, The Ultimate Bar offers panoramic views of the Soutpansberg. Fully licenced and stocked, have your drink amongst other guests while having a chat or watching sport on our wide screen TV.

The Ultimate Lodge offers a private venue for your specific function. We can accommodate a maximum of sixty people with our standard setting or one hundred people in cinema style. Our venue is perfect for conferences, functions, and workshops, making us the obvious choice for that special wedding day, long overdue family reunion or business seminar. Our function venue equipment includes the following:

Take your ‘kuier’ experience to the next level in our boma. With a cosy fireplace, the boma is sure to create lovely memories as you enjoy the beautiful starry night with friends and family.
The Soutpansberg Mountains hosts many bird species. This tremendous variety of birds makes The Ultimate Lodge a very rewarding birding destination.
Due to a high number of resident species all year round, there is an abundance of birds to see. There are several very special birds found on the Soutpansberg Mountains such as blue-spotted wood-dove, African broadbill, eastern nicator, bushshrike, orange ground-thrush, crested guineafowl and crowned eagle.
We have beautiful, well-kept gardens that are ideal for wedding photos or a garden ceremony to create those ultimate memories for that special day.
Our full a la carte restaurant offers tasty and wholesome breakfasts and meals.
The bar and crackling fireplaces are sure to warm the coldest traveller while enjoying your relaxing stay.
The Ultimate Lodge offers camping at R180,00 per person and R180,00 per stand per day. Our camping site also has electricity points as well as braai stands.
For your convenience, there are neat communal bathrooms and showers located nearby.
The Ultimate Lodge offers our guests free Wi-Fi access so that you can stay connected with your friends, family and business partners during your stay with us.
We have a peaceful picnic spot, located near our dam, where you can have some well-deserved alone time with your loved one or just enjoy the stillness with your family.
For a relaxing retreat with your family or friends, The Ultimate Lodge allows day visitors between 07:30 and 16:00 daily. We provide music daily on request. No personal speakers, boom boxes, etc. are allowed.

Children under 12 years: R100,00 per person

* No day visitors are allowed over Christmas and New Year, and only group bookings are allowed over major public holidays.
